Just Smarty recently gifted us two of their interactive posters that we gave to our kids for Christmas. I am a big fan of educational toys and knew that these would be great! However, these posters definitely exceeded my expectations. Keep reading to see why you should incorporate them in your home as well.
ABC’s and 123’s
These posters come with everything needed to hang them on your wall. The kids simply touch the “on” button and the poster will come to life. This specific poster focuses on Shapes, Colors, Word Association, Spelling and Phonics in addition to Letters A-Z and Numbers 1-10. The creators even worked with Early Childhood Development Specialists to develop these posters.
The poster will tell the child the letter of the alphabet that they have pushed and will sound it out. You can also switch to a game mode that will ask the child to find specific letters, shapes, numbers, and objects. For more advanced fun, they can even do a spelling quiz. There are several fun, interactive songs that play as well.
This poster can provide hours of fun, and the best part is that you can control the volume!
Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Creatures
My daughter loves learning about dinosaurs. The little plastic dinosaurs are some of her absolute favorite toys. I knew that she would love this interactive poster. This poster even came with a set of dinosaurs so my daughter could match them with what was on the poster and learn their names.
Similar to the previous poster, this one will tell the child the names of the dinosaurs and will make their sounds. It has several games that will ask questions like, “which dinosaur makes this sound?” or “Can you find…”
My daughter could correctly identify several dinosaurs within a couple of days, and even calls them the correct name when she plays with them. I was surprised at how educational this poster really is.
