Harvest Festival
There is so much to experience at Silver Dollar City and it is even more fun at their Harvest Festival! They have visiting craftsmen, artists, and authors. You can watch demonstrations and purchase your own unique keepsakes. You can watch cook-offs at the Cowboy Camp and sample their food. There are so many good eats and fall flavors that you can try! We had a Pumpkin Sausage Ricotta Pizza and it was so tasty! My husband’s favorite was the Tater Twists. They are so good! It is tender golden fried potatoes spiraled around a stick and you can add whatever flavoring you like! We added BBQ seasoning to ours. You also have the option of getting a Twisted Tater Dog which is the same as the Tater Twist but with a hot dog in the center. Of course, we had to get something sweet so we decided on a HUGE cinnamon roll and a Pumpkin Whoopie Pie. You cannot go wrong with any of their food! See the video of the food down below.

The kid’s area is full of rides and games! Valor got to ride for the first time and he loved it. They both won toys by playing the fishing game.
Pumpkins in the City
At night, the whole place lights up for their Pumpkin in the City event! It is all so beautiful. You don’t want to miss thrilling RIDES INTO THE NIGHT, and thousands of illuminated pumpkins. The place is full of non-frightful fun for the entire family. You can also explore the NEW Foggy Hollow and Wilson’s Farm expansion. The BEST part, (in our opinion), is at Pumpkin Plaza where you can have fun at their pumpkin dance party! They had balloon animals, face painting, photo opportunities, and lots of fun accessories to purchase. We bought the kids’ pumpkin bubble wands and they had a blast dancing with them!

They’ll soon be getting ready for their Old Time Christmas event. It has over 6.5 million twinkling lights and live holiday shows daily! An Old Time Christmas® is a four-time winner and reigning title-holder of a USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice poll for the nation’s Best Theme Park Holiday Event! We went last year for our son’s birthday and loved it! I definitely recommend making the trip!
