*This was a hosted stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*

Our beautiful daughter turned 4 this past weekend! We decided to take her to celebrate at the Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium in Springfield, MO. Fairfield Inn & Suites was kind enough to host us for our stay. We had such a wonderful experience with them, and I just had to tell you guys all about it!

The Hotel

Fairfield Inn & Suites is located just off I-44 and provides quick access to Springfield-Branson National Airport, Evangel University, Drury University and Missouri State University. The convenient location of this hotel also provides quick access to local points of interest, including Hammons Field, Bass Pro Shop, Wonders of Wildlife, Fantastic Caverns and the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Also located directly across the street is brand new entertainment for the whole family at BigShots Golf! As a mom of two little ones, I LOVED that it was right across the road from a Walmart! There was also a nice diner right next door, and plenty of other restaurants/fast food places in very close proximity to the hotel.

The Room

Our room had two Queen beds, a desk area if you need to get work done, a microwave, mini-fridge, and a television. I loved that the television had all of the apps on it like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube. We were able to turn on the kids’ favorite shows to help calm them down for bedtime. I was very pleasantly surprised at how spacious the bathroom was. It was probably the largest bathroom of any hotel we have stayed at. The staff was friendly and quick to help us with anything that we needed.

The Amenities

There is a Corner Market right next to the service desk at the hotel that has plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. There is an area for printing and/or faxing, and a large dining area for breakfast. They also have a nice fitness room and pool. We were able to enjoy the pool both nights of our stay and we had it all to ourselves. Breakfast had all of the kids’ favorites like yogurt, blueberry muffins, and cheerios. There was also oatmeal, fruit, and breakfast sandwiches.

Conclusion

Fairfield Inn & Suites is in close proximity to all of Springfield’s biggest attractions. The staff is eager to help and very friendly. The hotel was quiet and had everything you could possibly need. If you happened to forget to pack anything, you can run across the road to Walmart which is super convenient! If you plan on visiting Springfield, Missouri, any time soon then Fairfield Inn & Suites is the place to stay! 1. Fantastic blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Thanks!
